We saw signs for Koala Crossings and Kangaroo Crossings while driving along today, but no sign of the actual animals. When you use a credit card here, they don't ask you "debit or credit"? They ask "pin or sign"? A pharmacy is called Chemist. Instead of saying "Keep Right Except to Pass", the highway signs say "Keep Left Unless Overtaking". An intersection is called a junction. Gas is just under $6 a gallon. We are 15 hours ahead of Eastern Daylight Time. I decided I like the Australian "language". Some of my favorite Australian words are Billabong, Kukkaburra, Woollongong, Turramurra, Katoomba, Korumburra, Dandenong, Warrnambool, Kakadu, and Bundaburg. And my favorite town name in Australia is Coober Pedy.
