Sydney - the Cost of Living

We had heard that it is expensive here and we have found that to be true. We've gotten lots of recommendations for nice restaurants with comments like "It'll only be about $350 or $400 for the two of you, but it'll be well worth it." Well, I can't imagine any meal being worth that kind of money (unless of course chocolate is involved.)
